Birdman Gives Update On Lil Wayne’s Status And Seizure Attacks

Lil Wayne has been all over the news this past week as reports ran rampant that the YMCMB MC was on his death bed after suffering several seizure attacks.

Well his “Daddy” Birdman called into New York’s Hot 97 and spoke with Angie Martinez about Lil Wayne’s health and seems to be heated with TMZ as well for pushing stories that Wayne was given his last rights.

When asked if the seizures were related to drug use, Birdman struck down those allegations stating,

“To be honest it was his work ethic… and how hard he works. How much dedication he gives to music and his fans and what he’s trying to accomplish in life. It had nothing to do with drugs, no such thing. He works around the clock and he’s a hard grinder for this music. He just need some rest and relax and take it one day at a time.”

Birdman also says that they were watching the game when “rumors” spread that Weezy was in a medical induced coma and never was about to die. He added that “TMZ freaked the world out with that.”
