Houston’s Chucky Orbitz follow’s up his smash “2 Playa” featuring DeLorean with an ode to ‘bills.’ Whether you’re making them or paying them, we’ve all got ’em in one way or another. Produced by J Caspersen “Bills” is truly a bouncy tip of the hat to manhood; a coming of age tribute of sorts. There’s something that just feels so good about being able to pay your own way in the world. Especially when you spent the first half of your life struggling to keep body and soul together. Chucky is no stranger to struggle, having lost his mother to deportation in his teens; something that forced the young Nigerian to grow up quickly. It’s no wonder then that the subject of money, specifically having some, is cause for a musical celebration.
The Boomtown video for “Bills” gets shot this week and fans can expect Chucky’s EP sometime this summer. Stay tuned and enjoy the song after the jump.
