Following a car accident on Wednesday of this week, Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am is now wearing a neck brace. The rapper was driving his Cadillac in Los Angeles with close friend, British singer Cheryl Cole, when his vehicle hit a parked car.
Witnesses told the Sun Newspaper, “Both seemed shaken but were checking each other over…They both had nose bleeds and at least one of the airbags had deployed.”
Sources confirm the two were both pictured with bloodied noses following the accident that happened around 3:30am yesterday. Will’s injuries are a result of an inflating airbag while no safety equipment appeared to have discharged on Cheryl’s side.
The ‘Boom Boom Pow’ rapper was admitted to Los Angeles Cedar-Sinai hospital while Cheryl was treated at the scene of the accident. Later, the two took to twitter to assure their fans they were okay.
