Last night in Los Angeles the best and brightest in TV and Film gathered for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards and some of our favorites like Idris Elba and Octavia Spencer made history with their wins, and with their Red Carpet appearances. Idris Elba took home the award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his role on Luther, while Octavia Spencer won the award for Best Supporting Actress in The Help. Spencer wasn’t the only “Help” actress nominated as co-star Viola Davis was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture.
Mary J. Blige was nominated for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for “Living Proof” which she wrote and performed for The Help. Mission Impossible star Paula Patton was a presenter for the night, but somehow stole the show with her glowing aura on the red carpet. Check out all the pics below!
