West coast native Miss Marianna is hip hop’s breath of fresh air. Her bohemian style of storytelling with a streetwise twist puts her in a lane all by herself. Miss Marianna recently released her video “Gyrate” off her highly anticipated album, MARIOLOGY, and it is indeed a great display of her personality and unlimited skill.
Some of you may already be familiar with Miss Marianna as she was an on air radio personality “Miss Maya on Fire” on KBMB 103.5 The Bomb. Miss Marianna has stormed the west coast and now the entire nation. She’s performed from California to New York opening for acts ranging from Common to Chino XL.
Whether Miss Marianna is considered an emcee or a poet, the former Showtime at the Apollo finalist is determined to represent women. Check out The New World Daughter in her video for “Gyrate” above and be sure to leave your feedback below.
