Rap veteran Ice-T once fought the law years ago and now he portrays the law on television. Well, it looks like Ice-T and family will soon find themselves on the other side of the fence once again as Ice-T’s grandson, Elyjah Marrow, was arrested after accidentally shooting his roommate Daryus Johnson in their shared apartment.
Marrow, 19, was playing around with a handgun that accidentally went off. The Tuesday shooting would land Johnson who was also 19 in a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The shooting would also land Marrow in jail where he faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Marrow is currently in custody. No comment from Ice-T has been made.
