Akon filed paternity documents in court last month to become the legal father for two children that he had out of wedlock.
The Hip-Hop Singer filed a Petition for Legitimation in a Georgia Superior Court. He calims to be the father of his two minor sons born back in 2008 and 2009.
In the court documents he asks the court to grant him joint legal custody, which will allow him to be involved in all major decisions involving his two children. More importantly Akon wants to establish child support for the two kids.
Akon is also requesting for the kids to become eligible to inherit from him. Also requesting they keep his last name “Thaim” as their own.
There were also reports that Akon has made it clear in the past that he has multiple kids with atleast three different mothers.
