Open embedded mediaThe big day is almost here. On January 20th 2014 this years MLK 5K walk/run will take place at Piedmont Park. The MLK 5K Run celebrates Martin Luther King Day in the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood along with fellowship and fitness. This unique event gives participants a chance to register their churches, school PTA, and other organizations to receive proceeds from MLK DAY 5K. The USATF certified race course and Peachtree Road Race will be ran on road, gravel, grass, dirt paths and even a wooden bridge. To top it off, there will be a drumline along the race course.
