Music Alert: Chris Brown Gives Details On New Album “X”

Chris Brown Talks New Album “X”

Chris Brown has finally left the drama behind him and is now getting ready to release his new album X.

Chris Brown’s new album will include production hitmakers Polow Da Don, Timbaland, Pharrell, and Danja for the project and will also feature Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar.

Staying away from pop and Euro beats, Chris Brown decided to a “Quincey Jones” approach by paying homage to Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke, and Stevie Wonder.

“I wanted to put that classic essence of R&B and soul with the new age of music now. There’s a lot of live instruments, and a lot less Auto-Tune. I really wanted to demonstrate my vocal ability, creating the vibe of me singing along with a band.”

“I picked Kendrick because his subject matter as a lyricist is beyond everybody else’s. There’s a substance to what he says. It’s also fun to experience the ambitions and aspirations of a younger artist who’s just learning how the game works.”

X will be released this summer.
