The recent return of Dave Chappelle to the comedy spotlight has been like Michael Jordan coming back from retirement (the first time when Jordan was wearing 45, not his epic fail at the Wizards). This pass month has been nice having one of the “King’s of Comedy” back and doing what he is great at, entertaining the masses.
You may have caught Chappelle in his recent media run appearing on late night television with David Letterman and most recently with Jimmy Fallon. On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Chappelle had me in tears as he joked about social media and his first encounter with Kanye West. Check out the clips below.
Last week Dave Chappelle started his week-long comedy show at Radio City Music Hall. The hilarious comedy event runs through June 26th and includes musical acts like Nas, Erykah Badu, and The Roots.
The added musical element will begin on Monday, but fans in attendance of Friday’s show were in for a real treat as Kanye West came through and performed “New Slaves” , “Jesus Walks” , and “Gold Digger”. Watch below as the crowd goes crazy.
