This year, thanks largely in part due to the NBA lockout, we saw a surge of sports and style clashing all over the media. It was only up until this year that basketball players were primarily known for their dribble, dunking, and ball handling skills. But in 2011, we saw an emergence of a new breed of leading men in the world of style. With Dwayne Wade’s fashion excursion during Milan Fashion Week, to Carmelo Anthony & Amare Stoudemire rubbing elbows with some of fashion’s elite, and LeBron James taking aim at luxury retail we’re sure to see much more of the NBA stars on & off of the hardwood in the new year!
