This week’s featured Throwback Thursday video is Fatty Girl by Ludacris, LL Cool J and Keith Murray. The collaborative track was released in 2001 as the lead single from the FUBU compilation album, “The Good Life”. The popular track held spots on The Billboard Hot 100, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and was number six on the Hot Rap Singles. Everyone in the video can be seen donning FUBU attire – which turned out to be a successful marketing strategy for the brand as the clothing line and FUBU CEO Daymond John earned millions of dollars of revenue due to the video. Check out the video and be on the watch for the FUBU comeback.
