Ricky Spicer, a former member of the boy band Ponderosa Twins Plus One wants to be compensated for the use of his voice. “Bound 2” was a track off of Kanye’s latest project Yeezus. According to the suit, “Mr. Spicer’s voice is sampled exactly as he recorded it and his voice” This suit was filed on Monday with the Manhattan Supreme Court. We’ll have to wait to see how this suit gets settled. Defendants in the suit include Island Def Jam, Rhino Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Roc-a-Fella.
